The results of the Common University Entrance Test, CUET UG 2024 are expected to be announced by late July or in the first week of August, according to Shakeel Ahmed, the Officiating Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia. He also mentioned that while there will be a slight delay in admissions at the university, this will not affect the academic or semester calendar.

As per the NTA's information bulletin, the CUET UG results were originally scheduled for release on June 30, but they have yet to be announced.

The NTA is conducting a retest today for over 1,000 affected candidates following complaints, including issues of time loss due to the distribution of incorrect question papers.

The vice chancellor held a meeting with the deans of all schools on Thursday to discuss the delay in the CUET UG results. The university uses CUET scores for admissions into 15 out of its 50 undergraduate courses and five out of its

86 master's programmes.

The Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia held a meeting with the deans and reached definitive conclusions regarding CUET. Ahmed stated that in recent years, the admission process has experienced delays, but the results should be released by the end of July or the first week of August.

"Although our admission process will be slightly delayed, it will not be as prolonged as in previous years. Importantly, there will be no impact on the academic or semester calendar," Shakeel Ahmed was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.

After the deadline for challenging the draft key, experts review the challenges and prepare the final key. This process typically takes about one to two weeks, but the NTA is committed to announcing the results promptly, Ahmed adds.

The CUET UG was conducted from May 15 to May 31 in both online and pen-and-paper formats.
