After several weeks of uncertainty, the final schedule for the Delhi University Open Book Exams 2020 has been announced by the Delhi High Court. The OBE exams are set to commence from August 10 and the mock tests will begin from July 27, 2020.

The OBE semester exams are scheduled to start from August 10 and will end on August 31. Delhi University is conducting OBE in online mode this year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the health risk it poses.

Though the exams are set to commence from August 10, students who are unable to appear for the examinations for whatever reason will be given the opportunity to appear for the exams physically once the university

is officially open, which will most likely be in September.

DU initially took the decision of conducting the exams from August 17 and end the exams on September 8, but the Delhi HC intervened, saying that the exams need to be fast-tracked and compressed so that students can seek timely admission in other institutes and universities.

Now, the exams are being held from August 10 to 31, and the first cycle of mock tests will start from July 27. Following the first cycle of mock tests, the second cycle will start from August 1.
Initially, the first cycle of mock tests was supposed to start from July 31 and the second cycle was supposed to start from August 4.
