All private, unaided schools of the national capital have released the the Delhi Nursery Admission 2024 first merit list today, January 12. According to an official report, approximately, 1,800 private schools in Delhi released their first merit list for admission to Nursery, KG and Class-1 for general category students. There is a 25 per cent reservation for students from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Disadvantaged Group (DG) and children with disabilities in private schools. The schools will release a separate list for them. 

While giving information to news agency PTI, Sudha Acharya, principal of ITL Public School, said they received 1,200 applications for admission to entry-level classes this year and released the merit list of 61 students



on Friday. ''The draw was held on Thursday evening and the list of 61 students was released today. We received a total of 1,200 applications this year and most of them were online. Around a hundred applications were received through physical form,'' Acharya told PTI. He further stated that a larger number of students who applied for ITL Public School this year are either children of alumni or siblings of current students.ITL Public School has a total of 190 seats for entry-level classes. The draw is videographed and its footage will be preserved by the schools. 

After this, the schools will now resolve the queries received from the parents about how points were given to their children. This will be managed by written messages, or emails from January 13 to 22.
