Delhi schools announce winter vacation for 6 days

The Directorate of Education announced on Wednesday that the winter vacation for schools in Delhi has been shortened from 15 to 6 days. The revised winter break will commence on January 1, 2024.

Earlier, the winter break in Delhi schools for the academic session 2023-24 was



scheduled to take place from January 1 to January 15.

To prevent any adverse impact on our students caused by the poor air quality in Delhi, a section of the winter break was scheduled from November 9 to November 18, stated the circular issued by the Directorate of Education.
