The Delhi University (DU) will begin admissions for more than 60,000 seats in undergraduate courses on Wednesday. The university has scrapped offline registrations from this year.
So this year, all applicants will have to go to the DU admission portal, fill in details, submit scanned copies of the documents and make the payment. Closing date for registration is June 19, dean of students’ welfare J M Khurana
said.
“Needless to say this falls under the Centre government’s Digital India policy. DU has always led from the front and we are not going to lag behind,” spokesperson Kishore Kumar Das told.
The varsity’s admission committee, which held a series of meetings in the run-up to the admission process, has decided to give 1% relaxation to women students seeking admission in all colleges.
