The students and staff members of St. Stephen’s College, which is affiliated with Delhi University, tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday, after which the college administration took the decision to enforce Covid-19 protocols and
shut down the campus.
The college campus has been shut off for students till further notice after the recent Covid-19 outbreak, which was most likely spread due to a college trip organised in late March without proper permissions, as per the college authorities.
After being shut down for almost a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, St. Stephen’s college had allowed the students in the final year to come to campus for physical lessons in small batches, with several Covid-19 safety protocols in place.
