Over 2.2 lakh candidates are set to appear for Eamcet-2018, which begins on Wednesday. The entrance test will be conducted in 18 zones across Telangana (14) and Andhra Pradesh (4) between May 2 and 7.
“There are 87 centers across all test zones. Agriculture and medicine stream test will be held in 75 centres on May 2 and 3. Engineering stream test will be held in 83 centres between May 4 and 7,” said N Yadaiah, convener of Eamcet.
TSCPDCL officials have been urged to provide uninterrupted
power supply during the test, and TSRTC officials have been asked to run extra buses on exam days as well.While 73,078 students will appear for the agriculture and medical stream test, 1,47,912 students will appear for the engineering stream test.
The exam is being conducted in different slots on various dates as only 25,000 candidates can be accommodated at a time in exam centres. Yadaiah said that a provisional key will be released two days after the exam.
