More than two lakh students appeared for the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture Medical Common Entrance Test (TS Eamcet 2017) held across the state on Friday .
A total of 1,31,910 students -of the 1,41,190 registered -took the test for the engineering engineering stream while 73,501 students appeared for the agriculture, pharmacy and allied groups exam. About 79,061 students had registered for this
stream.
The engineering entrance exam was held in 246 centres, while the agriculture and pharma test was organised at 154 centres. The TS Emacet was conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTU-H) on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Hig her Education (TSCHE).
The council said that the Eamcet results will be declared on May 22, 2017.
