While talking about the board exams, Varsha Gaikwad also shared information related to the conduction of the practical exams, saying that exams for Class 12 will be held between April 1 and 22, and for Class 10 between April 9 and 28.

Many state boards have decided to release the dates of the board examinations to be

conducted for this academic session after the Education Ministry released the dates for the CBSE board exams 2021. The CBSE exams for classes 10 and 12 will be conducted from May 4.

The education minister further said, “The written exams for Class 12 will be held between April 23 and May 29, and for Class 10 between April 29 and May 31. We are trying to declare the results of Classes 12 and 10 by July-end and August-end, respectively.”

In an effort to help the students appearing for the board exams this year, the department of education in Maharashtra has also decided to reduce the syllabus of both classes by 25 percent this year.

Varsha Gaikwad also talked about the resumption of offline classes in Maharashtra, stating that around 38% of students were attending classes in schools, as of January 18.
