Persistent heavy rains have led to widespread flooding across several regions of Kerala, resulting in the closure of various educational institutions on Tuesday.
The impact of the incessant rains led district administrations to declare a holiday for educational institutions in Kottayam,
Vaikom, and Changanassery taluks.
Seventeen relief camps are actively providing refuge for approximately 246 flood-affected individuals to date. Similarly, in Alappuzha educational institutions in the taluks of Cherthala and Chengannur, which are hosting relief camps, also declared a holiday.
