Officials from Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) said the final decision to conduct another phase of counselling for admissions into undergraduate courses through degree online services, Telangana will be taken only on August 24.
“We are constantly monitoring the process and would soon take a decision on the fourth phase of counselling.Candidates who had secured a seat in the third phase have to report to college latest by August 23. So by August 24, we will know the exact picture and would take a decision to fill the left over seats,“ said R Limbadri, vice-chairman,
TSCHE.
When asked if candidates who did not register in the third phase will be alloweld for the final phase of counselling, he said: “As of now we can't say who all will be allowed for counselling, but while making a decision we will consider all candidates-registered, unregistered, admission cancelled, invalid.“
Out of over 4 lakh seats, a total 1.82 lakh seats have been filled in 1088 government and private colleges. During the third phase of web counselling, 74,699 candidates have been given seats and candidates have to report to colleges concerned on or before August 23.
