The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification detailing the "Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for practical examinations, projects, and internal assessments" for classes 10 and 12.
These guidelines aim to ensure uniformity in instructions and accuracy in procedures. The practical exams are scheduled between January 1, 2025, and February 14, 2025.
Below are the key guidelines for conducting the practical examinations, projects, and internal assessments for classes 10 and 12:
. The practical examinations, projects, and internal assessments must follow the guidelines and practical syllabus outlined for the respective academic session, as provided on the CBSE Academic Branch's official website: cbseacademic.nic.in.
. Marks for all practical examinations, projects, and internal assessments must be uploaded simultaneously as the exams or assessments are conducted, within the scheduled period from January 1, 2025, to
February 14, 2025.
. Students found attempting to communicate or influence examiners in any manner, or engaging in any inappropriate means to gain undue advantage during exams or assessments, will be considered to have used unfair means. Examiners must immediately report such cases, providing full details, documents, and witness statements, to the respective Regional Office. Any action by a stakeholder that undermines the integrity of the assessment will be considered an unfair means (UFM) incident, and the Board will take appropriate action accordingly.
