The schools in Gujarat have been shut down for all the classes since March 2020 in view of the rapid spread of
the Covid-19 pandemic in the country and the gradual extension of the nationwide lockdown by the central government.
Since the closure of schools, all studies have been conducted through online classes being conducted through digital platforms. Many students have raised complaints about not being able to attend online classes due to a lack of financial stability and resources.
Though the decision regarding the reopening of schools for students of classes 9 and 11 was just announced today, the Gujarat government has already reopened the schools for students of classes 10 and 12 across the state.
