In a heartwarming gesture, two class 7 students from a school in Himachal Pradesh's Sirmaur district stepped forward to support disaster relief efforts.

On Saturday, these two students donated their pocket money by presenting the contents of their piggy banks to the disaster relief fund, showcasing compassion and solidarity with the affected communities.

As per an official statement, Srishti Chauhan



and Aniket Chauhan, students of class 7 at Government Senior Secondary School, Saino in Sirmaur district, demonstrated remarkable generosity. Srishti contributed Rs 3,817, while Aniket contributed Rs 1,004, towards the 'Aapda Rahat Kosh', as stated by the authorities.

They handed over their piggy banks to Education Minister Rohit Thakur, who subsequently forwarded the contributions to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
