The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has decided to postpone the Chartered Accountants Intermediate Course Examination, (Group I), Paper-4 (Taxation) in the state of Karnataka.

The ICAI CA Inter May 2023 exam was originally scheduled for May 10, 2023, but it has now been moved to May 20, 2023, due to the General Election to the Legislative Assembly in Karnataka.

The ICAI released an official notification on April 1, 2023, informing students of the postponement.

The exam centers affected by the change are Bagalkot, Belgaum, Bellary,



Bengaluru, Chikkaballapur, Chitradurga, Davangere, Gadag, Hassan, Haveri, Hubli, Kalaburgi, Kolar, Koppal, Mandya, Mangalore, Mysore, Raichur, Shimoga, Sirsi, Tumakuru, Udupi and Vijayapura.

The CA Inter exam 2023 will be conducted in a single shift between 2 pm and 5 pm and at the same examination centers.

Admit cards will not be released separately; the same admit card will be valid for the May 20 exam. Other cities and dates for examinations will remain unchanged.

Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website of the ICAI for any further updates.
