ICAI likely to reschedule May CA exam ahead of 2024 Lok Sabha elections

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has recently announced a potential rescheduling of the CA Foundation, Final, and Intermediate examinations slated for May 2024. This rescheduling consideration stems from a precautionary measure to avoid clashes with the 2024 general elections. However,



this adjustment is contingent upon the official announcement of the election dates for the 18th Lok Sabha.

As of now, the precise dates for the general elections remain undisclosed. The registration window for the May 2024 CA exams without incurring late fees closed on February 23, 2024.
