ICSE has decided to cancel all the pending ICSE exams for class 10 and ISC exams for class 12 as per the latest Supreme Court hearing on Thursday, June 25. The ICSE exams are not optional for students anymore and no one can appear for them, the board clarified.
Even though CBSE said that the CBSE class 10 exams are completely cancelled while the CBSE Class 12 exams are optional which students may choose to
appear in after the pandemic situation subsides, the matter is not the same with ICSE.
ICSE decided to do away with all confusion by cancelling all pending ICSE board exams for classes 10 and 12 for this year. The students will be assessed on the basis of their internal marks or that received in the pre-board exams.
The ICSE and ISC board exams were scheduled to be held from July 1 to July 12.
