IGNOU introduces a specialised MA course in Bhagavad Gita studies

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced the launch of a new MA programme in Bhagavad Gita Studies for the academic session 2024-2025, according to an official notification. The programme will be offered through open and distance learning (ODL) starting from July 2024.

The duration of the course



ranges from two to four years, with a total of 500 seats available. It will be structured for 80 credits, with English as the medium of instruction.

"With the approval of competent authority, the programme MA Bhagavadgita Studies (MABGS) will be offered through ODL mode from the July 2024 session," reads the official notice.
