The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad is launching three all-course MTech programmes in biomedical, chemical and material science engineering in August 2018, stated a press release issued by the institute on Tuesday.
The programmes will provide strong coursework to meet industrial standards, and offers a flexible structure for students interested in research. “A student can choose to take only courses and graduate in three
semesters, or choose to do a full thesis for 14 months, similar to the regular MTech programme,” read the release. The deadline for filing of online applications is July 21, 2018.
“Indian industries need a high-skill workforce, equipped with knowledge of the latest developments and practices. This we believe can be achieved through an exhaustive set of courses,” said Prof UB Desai, director, IIT-H.
