Inter admission schedule released

The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) on Friday released the admission schedule for 2018-19. The issue of application forms and start of admissions in the first phase will be from May 21 to June 30.

“The schedule of the second phase of admissions will be communicated in due course. The classes for first year intermediate students will start on June 1,” said A Ashok, secretary of BIE. He added



that principals can make provisional admissions on the basis of internet marks memos. 

“The provisional admissions will be confirmed once the student submits original SSC marks memo and transfer certificate,” he said.

The board made it clear that colleges should not conduct entrance tests, but take only SSC marks into account.
