The Telangana Intermediate public exams will begin on February 28 next year and conclude on March 19, as per the revised time-table released by the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education on Tuesday.
As per the new time-table, the practical exams are scheduled to be held from February 1-21across the state. Test for all theory papers will be held from 9 am to 12 pm while the practical exams will be held from 10 am to 1 pm.
The ethics and human values exam will be conducted on January 27. Exam for environment education is scheduled on January 29. Officials said that the time-table has been revised in view of the timetable released by the AP Board of Intermediate Education (APBIE). Highlighting how “there is possibility for sending the
question paper of APBIE through whatsapp” as syllabus in optional subjects in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are common, the release stated that the dates in Telangana have been changed as it may otherwise “create false rumours of leakage of question paper every day and panic/confusion”.
As per the time-table, first year students have to appear for second language paper on February 28 and second year students have to appear on March 1. Similarly, the English paper will be written by first and second year students on March 3 and March 5 respectively. Exam for Part III subjects such as Mathematics, Botany, Civics, Psychology, History, Chemistry, Sociology, Geology and Commerce, among others will be begin from March 6 onwards.
