Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is hosting a free one-day course on machine learning applications in ecological studies on November 27.
Open to researchers, academicians, and students, the course offers valuable insights into deep learning techniques and their impact on ecology. Participants will also receive a free e-certificate upon completion.
Deep learning, a
subset of artificial intelligence, is revolutionising ecological research. ISRO’s programme, conducted through the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) outreach facility, focuses on demonstrating how deep learning tools can aid in tasks like vegetation classification, deforestation monitoring, species identification, and habitat mapping. The course will also feature case studies to highlight practical applications.
