Its Confirmed: CBSE Class XII Results To Be Announced on Sunday

The waiting for students expecting their CBSE Class XII results will be over soon. The school board has confirmed that the results will be announced on 28 May after the CBSE decided to not approach the Supreme Court over the Delhi High Court's order to continue its moderation policy.

The results will be declared before noon on Sunday. The following websites will display the result.

On Thursday, there were speculations of the CBSE approaching the SC with a Special Leave



Petition, challenging the Delhi High Court's order in the marks moderation policy. This had led to uncertainty and panic among parents and students awaiting the Class XII results.

The marks moderation policy was dropped in April until the Delhi HC ordered the CBSE to continue with it for another year.

Conclusive data analysis of CBSE results over the past decade has shown that the board was inflating students' marks unequally through its moderation policy - that is, marks of different students were being raised by different amounts.
