Students have been dealing with the uncertainty and anxiety of not knowing their academic future amid the covid-19 lockdown. To put the students’ minds to ease, Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has stated that they will begin the evaluation process for Class 10 and 12 board examination answer sheets from May 28, 2020. The council has the aim to release the results for both the examinations in the first week of July, as per media reports.
“The evaluation of papers will be conducted in 67
centres of 19 districts in Jharkhand from May 28. More than 9,500 evaluators are being engaged in the task,” said JAC Secretary Mahip Kumar Singh, as per HT reports.
The evaluation process was supposed to begin on March 20, but was deferred to April 1, 2020. The process was further pushed due to the extension of the nationwide lockdown.
Singh was also reported saying that if everything goes according to the council’s plans, the evaluation process should not take more than 25 days.
