Jamia Millia Islamia announce to establish 3 new departments in campus

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) today announced establishment of three new departments on the campus. The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, in her capacity as the visitor of JMI, has approved amendments to the existing statute 20, an official notification stated.

This approval was conveyed



to Jamia Millia Islamia by the ministry of education (department of higher education) vide its letter no. 6-11/2022-CU 2 dated March 6, 2024. The three new departments are department of law under the faculty of law, the department of dental sciences, department of medical sciences under the faculty of dentistry.
