The Japan Society has awarded Professor Naved Iqbal from Jamia Millia Islamia a fellowship for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). He will be conducting research on well-being and religion in collaboration with professor Hiroshi Yama from Osaka Metropolitan University, as a part of the research. He is also being offered the position of visiting professor.
Professor Iqbal
has served as a visiting professor at the Institute of Psychology, Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw, Poland, in the summer semester of 2023. He is a member of an International Professional group that helped establish a chair in UNESCO on child maltreatment in 2022 and is an Honorary Principal Fellow at the Center of Wellbeing Science at the University of Melbourne since April 27, 2022.
