In a first, low-powered jammers will be installed at all venues where Civil Services preliminary exams will be held at 72 centres in the city on June 3.

These jammers will be made operational 30 minutes prior to the start of forenoon session and taken off 30 minutes after the afternoon session. Bharat Electronics Ltd will be setting up jammers, said district



collector Yogita Rana on Friday.

The exam will be held from 9.30am-11.30am and 2.30pm-4.30pm. Candidates have to come at least 10 minutes before exam and won’t be let in without e-Admit cards. For those with cerebral palsy, visually and hearing impaired there are separate venues. In all, 48,939 candidates are to appear.
