Following in the footsteps of CBSE, ICSE and several state boards of India, Jammu and Kashmir has decided to reduce the school syllabus of classes 10, 11, and 12 by 30 percent to make up for the time lost with school closures to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.

of school education of J&K announced it on social media.

“Syllabus for 10+2 classes exams reduced to 70 % for JKUT. This also applies for 10th class syllabus for exams,” tweeted Asgar Hassan Samoon, Principal Secretary, School Education and Skill Development, Jammu and Kashmir.
