JEE Advanced 2021 dates likely to be postponed due to COVID-19 second wave

After the postponement of several competitive and national exams in view of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is being speculated that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 will also be deferred to a later date for the safety of the students.

Many students and teachers are also pushing for the postponement of the JEE Advanced 2021 exam as the pandemic situation in the country is getting worse and a lot of competitive exams are being pushed to June and July this year.

The JEE Advanced 2021 exams are scheduled to be conducted on July 3 across the country. Though there are still two months left for



the exams, the postponement of the JEE Main exam can lead to its postponement this year.

The JEE Main 2021 April session has been postponed due to the rise in Covid-19 cases. The exam was scheduled to be held from April 27 to 30. NTA has said that the new dates of the exams will be announced at least 15 days before its conduction.

Several national competitive exams such as JEE Main 2021 April, UGC NET, NEET PG 2021, UPSC EPFO exam, UPCET 2021, and IAS STAR 2021 exam have also been deferred to later dates due to the pandemic. The announcement regarding the JEE Advanced 2021 exam will also be made soon.
