The number of attempts for the Joint Entrance Examination, Advanced has been increased from two to three from this year. As per the new guidelines, a candidate can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of three times in three consecutive years.

Earlier, the number of



attempts were limited to twice in two consecutive years.

For the age limit, candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 2000. Five years age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, i.e. these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995.
