Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 might be conducted more than twice next year, to help the students amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic which has increased their academic stress.
The education minister also said that the authorities will try to release the dates for the first phase of the JEE Main 2021 exam as soon as possible to give enough time to students to prepare for the engineering entrance during these uncertain
times.
Ramesh Pokhriyal also said that they can push back the JEE Main 2021 exams if it is required, though he did not mention postponing the exam. The education minister also confirmed during the live session that the NEET 2021 exam will not be cancelled.
