JEE Main 2024 Session 2 revised to avoid clash with CBSE Class 12 board exams

Due to the clashing of the CBSE Class 12 board exams with JEE Main 2024 session 2, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has modified the dates for the second session of JEE Main 2024, ensuring better coordination between the engineering entrance exam and the CBSE board examinations.

The CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exam 2024 datesheet was announced on December 12, 2023, but underwent subsequent modifications. Meanwhile, the NTA released the schedule for JEE Main in September of the previous year. Upon careful examination of both



notifications, it was observed that the examination dates of the CBSE board exam and JEE main session 2 were overlapping.

JEE Main 2024 Session 1 is scheduled to commence on January 24 and conclude on February 1. Meanwhile, the CBSE 12th examinations will commence on February 15 and continue until April 2. The final day of the Class 12 exams will include subjects such as Informatics Practice, Computer Science, and Information Technology. Subsequently, the second session of JEE Main is slated to take place from April 1 to April 15.
