Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, JNTU, Hyderabad has decided to conduct Final Year Exams 2020 for engineering and pharmacy courses. The JNTU final year examination will start from September 16, 2020, onwards.

Director of Evaluation, JNTUH, V Kamakshi Prasad had released a letter that said that the university will conduct exams at the campus. The JNTU University has also planned to hold the fourth year second semester exams for the BTech and BPharm courses.

The University will be taking the necessary precautions to conduct the examination. However, the university has still not released the precautions to be



taken.

According to media reports, students will be thermally screened before appearing for the exams.

The use of sanitizers and face mask is mandatory while appearing for the examination.

However, students who will be appearing for the exams are not convinced by the decision of the university to conduct the examination.

A petition has been filed by state president of the National Students Union of India Venkat Balmoori in the High Court against the conduct of the examination.

Venkat Balmoori has said that the case is still with the court and the university cannot take any decision ahead of the verdict.
