For the academic year 2022-23, the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU)-Hyderabad will begin the Fact Finding Committee (FFC) inspections of private colleges on August 18.
226 private colleges, including 148 engineering, 69 pharmacy, and 9 MBA/MCA colleges, have applied for affiliation with the university for 2022-23.
In phases, university officials will inspect private engineering colleges affiliated with the university, followed by pharmacy, MBA, and
MCA colleges. The inspections will be conducted by over 20 FFCs, each composed of two to three officials. All JNTU-Hyderabad colleges have been instructed to make necessary arrangements for FFC visits.
A physical inspection will be conducted on all colleges that have applied for affiliation. It will take three to four days for the inspection of private engineering colleges to be completed. In the future, pharmacy colleges, MBA colleges, and MCA colleges will be inspected, said a senior official.
