Kakatiya University to host inter-varsity women’s handball tournament

Warangal : Kakatiya University, Warangal, will be hosting the South Zone Inter University Handball Tournament for Women from December 8 to 11.

Briefing the media in the campus on Tuesday, Vice-Chancellor Prof. R Sayanna said that various committees had been constituted and all arrangements had been completed for the smooth conduct of the



event.

Five new handball grounds have been laid to organise the games successfully.  Teams from 46 universities with a total of 750 players are participating in the tournament. “Accommodation will be provided to all the players and officials on the campus, at Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Chaitanya Degree & PG College in the city,” he added.
