All arrangements are in place for the Lawcet-2017 to be held on May 27 across Telangana, said the convener Prof. MV Ranga Rao. A meeting of the Lawcet regional coordinators is held at Kakatiya University here on Wednesday.
University vice-chancellor Prof. R Sayanna, who chaired the meeting, said the KU is organising the test for the third time. Hence all arrangements should be made in an effective manner. Prof. Ranga Rao informed that 24, 759 candidates would be appearing for the test at 44 examination centres spread in 15 regional centres in the State; 17, 967 candidates would be appearing for the test for admission into for 3-year LLB; 4810 for 5-year LLB and 1962 for LLM admission.
A total of 60
observers have been appointed for smooth conduct of the test. For 3-year and 5-year LLB, the test would be conducted between 10 to 11.30 am for LLM the test would be conducted from 2.30 to 4 pm. On the day of the test, the TSCHE chairman Prof. T Papi Reddy would select the question paper set at 6 am.
Preliminary key would be released on May 30 and one could submit their objections over the key by June 2, the convener informed. The Lawcet results would be released on June 10. The candidates would be allowed into exam hall one hour before the commencement of the test and they have to give their biometric attendance. The candidates would not be allowed to appear for the test even if late by one minute, Prof. Ranga Rao added.
