Lucknow University postpones exams in view of Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration

In view of the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony for the Ram Mandir on January 22, Lucknow University has rescheduled the examination dates for various courses.

The new dates of the exams have been announced by the varsity, says a senior university official.

Following Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's declaration of a statewide holiday for all



educational institutions on January 22, the university has consequently deferred examinations scheduled for that day, the official adds.

"Considering the significance of the consecration ceremony of the eagerly awaited new idol of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya Dham, the chief minister has declared a holiday for educational institutions on January 22," according to an official release.
