Manuu launches new English training course

A new training programme, ‘Communication Skills In English’, was inaugurated at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (Manuu) on Monday. The eight-week-long course is offered in collaboration with the US Consulate, Hyderabad. The course was inaugurated by Prof. Shakeel Ahmed, pro vice-chancellor at the CSE Coaching Academy.

Robin Cathey, an English Language fellow from the US, will be on campus for the next 10 months. “I am excited to learn



about you,” she said while admitting her love for Hyderabadi food during an interaction with students.

“This is a invaluable opportunity for students and could lead to more collaboration between Manuu and the US consulate,” said Ahmed. Ahmad described the course as the culmination of the joint vision of Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, vice-chancellor and Katherine Hadda, US Consul General, Hyderabad.
