The seat allotment processing for NEET PG 2022 stray vacancy round will be completed today, November 28, and the medical counselling committee (MCC) will release the NEET PG 2022 stray vacancy round seat allotment result tomorrow, November 29, 2022, at the official website mcc.nic.in.
The selected candidates in the stray vacancy round can report to the allotted colleges from November 29 to December 2.
Once the result is out, the list of eligible candidates will be forwarded to deemed universities, equalling ten times against the number of vacant seats available.
Recently, MCC added more seats in NEET PG 2022 stray vacancy round seat matrix and opened the choice filling window to facilitate choice filling for these newly added seats.
The choice filling and locking for the stray vacancy round counselling was closed on November 26.
"The candidates who do not modify their choices for Stray Vacancy Round, their choices of Mop Up Round will be considered for processing in, stray vacancy round by the software. Candidates who want to modify their choices can do so within the stipulated time. In case no more internal candidates/ category candidates are available, the seats will be converted to General / All India Quota as per counselling policy so that no precious seat goes waste," reads MCC’s notification.
MCC conducts NEET PG counselling for the allotment of 50% of All India Quota seats while respective state counselling authorities conduct counselling for the rest 50% of seats.
