Opportunity has just knocked on the door for international students who have made up their minds to pursue courses in India, especially students from the subcontinent and African countries, who are currently the most in numbers in India.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has launched two new special category visas for international students wishing to pursue higher education in India. The newly

introduced 'e-student visa' and 'e-student-x visa' will help streamline the process for foreign students.

To apply for these visas, students must first register on the 'Study in India' (SII) portal, which is an initiative by the Ministry of Education. The portal aims to simplify the admission process for international students looking to enroll in long-term or short-term courses at Indian institutions.
