Mohammad Shakeel appointed as Officiating V-C of JMI, President Murmu confirms

Prof Mohammad Shakeel has been appointed as the officiating Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia.

“Hon’ble President of India in her capacity as the Visitor of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), in exercise of



powers conferred upon her by the Act or Statutes of University has been pleased to approve the appointment of Prof. Mohammad Shakeel as the Officiating Vice-Chancellor as per Statute 2(6) of JMI Act, 1988,” the official notice stated.
