Actor Sajid Khan, known for playing the young Sunil Dutt in 'Mother India', died on December 22. His son, Sammer, revealed that he lost his life because of cancer. He was 71 years old at the time of his death.
Sajid Khan of 'Mother India' died on December 22 due to cancer. The news was confirmed by his son Sammer. He told PTI, “He had been battling cancer for a
while."
He further added, “My father was adopted by Rajkumar Pitamber Rana and Sunita Pitamber and fostered by filmmaker Mehboob Khan. He was not active in films for a while and was mostly involved in philanthropy. He used to come to Kerala quite often, and he liked it here. He remarried and settled here."
The late actor was laid to rest in Kerala’s Kayamkulam Town Juma Masjid in Alappuzha district.
