Madhya Pradesh School Education Department has instructed all the government schools in the state to conduct the annual exams for classes 9 and 11, as well as the pre-board exams in both online and offline modes this year.

Due to this provision, the students will have the liberty of appearing for the exams either from their homes or through the online portal designed by the government. The blended model of exams has been introduced this year in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This order has only been implemented in the government schools for this academic year. The private schools in Madhya Pradesh have been allowed to choose from either of the two options for the conduction of the annual exams.

As the students have been allowed to appear in the

exams in online mode, the question papers of the subjects will be uploaded on the examination portal and then be downloaded by the students. The students will then have the provision of uploading their answer sheets on the portal.

The students in Madhya Pradesh schools who choose to appear for offline exams can do so from their own homes. Students will have to collect the question papers from their schools and attempt the exam at their homes. Then they will have to submit the answer sheets to the school.

Students who choose to appear for the offline exams will be given enough time to pick up the question paper, attempt the exam and then drop off the answer sheets. The students of classes 1 to 8 in Madhya Pradesh are being promoted without the conduction of exams.
