Total 10 colleges from Telangana were accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (Naac) as per revised accreditation frame work initiated by ministry of human resource development in July, 2017.
According to the result declared by Naac, Vignan Bharati Institute of Technology has been conferred with ‘A’ grade and cumulative grade point average of 3.23, the highest among all the colleges which secured accreditation from Telangana.
Out of 10 colleges which got Naac accreditation, nine are private colleges and one is a government degree
college. The colleges are, CMR Institute of Technology (A grade), Government Degree College for Women, Khammam (A grade), Malla Reddy College of Engineering (B++ grade), Badruka College of Commerce and Arts (B++ grade), Joginpally B. R. Engineering College (B++ grade), Swarna Bharathi Institute of Science and Technology (B+ grade), Balaji Institute of Technology and Science (B+ grade), Sarojini Naidu Vanita Maha Vidyalaya (B grade) and Siddhartha Institute of Technology and Sciences (B grade) respectively. Two Andhra Pradesh colleges also secured Naac accredition.
