National Institute of Open Schooling admission begin

National Institute of Open schooling, under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India is inviting applications for secondary and senior secondary level courses. NIOS Regional Director Sri Anil Kumar informed that candidates who have completed 14 years of age and passed eighth standard are eligible to join in secondary level courses.

To join in senior secondary level courses, candidates should attain



the age of 15 years and must have completed tenth standard, he said. NIOS certificate has the validity at national and International levels for the employment, he added. 

The last date for admissions into courses for 2015-2016 is June 30, 2015 with the exception of Stream-II exams which will be held in October 2015. The last date for admissions into courses for 2015-16 (stream-1 Exams in April- 2016) is July 30, 2015.
