National Overseas Scholarship (NOS) 2023 registration to begin from Feb 15 @ nosmsje.gov.in

The registration process for the National Overseas Scholarship (NOS) scheme will commence on February 15, 2023. As per the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, the registration process will conclude on March 31, 2023. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship on the official website, i.e., nosmsje.gov.in.

The official website reads, 'The NOS portal will open from 15-02-2023 for a period of 45 days i.e. till 31-03-2023



(midnight) for submission of online applications through the Portal.'

The Central Sector Scheme of National Overseas Scholarship is to facilitate low-income students belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Denotified Nomadic, and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, Landless Agricultural Labourers, and Traditional Artisans categories to obtain higher education, viz., Master's degree or Ph.D courses by studying abroad thereby improving their Economic and Social status.
