NEET registrations begin

The National Testing Agency has released the notification for the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (UG) 2019 for admissions into medical/dental colleges approved by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India.

The registrations for the entrance examination have already begun through the website https://www.nta.ac.in, with the last date to submit the online application, including uploading of photograph and signature, is November 30.

The registration fee for the unreserved/Other Backward Classes (OBC)-NCL is Rs.1,400 whereas for



SC/ST/PwD/Transgender, it is Rs.750. The test fee can be paid through credit/debit card/net-banking and also through e-challan till December 1. Candidates who submit their online application form can make corrections, if any, on the website from January 14 to 31, 2019. The admit cards can be downloaded from the website from April 15, 2019.

The NTA will conduct the entrance examination on May 5 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Recorded responses of the candidates and answer keys will be displayed the NTA website and the final result will be announced by June 5, 2019.
