The National Testing Agency, NTA will declare the results of the National Entrance Cum Eligibility Test, NEET 2020 by October 12. All the candidates who appeared for the NTA NEET 2020 exam are advised to keep a close check on the official website (ntaneet.nic.in) for the latest updates on results. The NEET 2020 was conducted on September 13 at various test centres across the country amid strict Covid-19 norms.
Meanwhile, NTA published the students' response sheets or the OMR sheets on Monday. All the candidates can challenge the OMR sheets online on or before October 7.
Out of the total number of registered applicants, nearly 90 per cent of the candidates appeared for NEET
2020.
The NTA will prepare the merit list as per the directives of DGHS and the Ministry of AYUSH Admission Central Counselling Committee. Further, category wise result will not be prepared.
NEET exam is held for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions including those governed under any other law. Thus, the admission to the MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER, and all AIIMS like Institutions will also be made through NEET.
The result of the NEET (UG) - 2020 may be utilized by other entities of Central/State Governments for admission purposes in accordance with their rules and in consultation with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
