The NEET UG 2024 counselling process is set to commence in the third week of July, as announced by the Centre. The process, which will unfold in four rounds, marks the final stage for admissions to medical colleges across India.
The counselling will be based on an All India Merit List prepared from the NEET UG 2024 results. This list, arranged by All India Rank, will guide the admission of candidates to undergraduate medical
courses. The existing reservation policies will be applied during the admission process.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will provide the All India Rank to the candidates, while the admitting authorities will invite applications for counselling.
The admitting authorities will then create a merit list based on the All India Rank, ensuring that admissions are conducted within the respective categories.
