NEP 2020 is knowledge document of 21st century, says Union edu minister Dharmendra Pradhan

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan attended a roundtable on the Implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) on Saturday, at Symbiosis International University Pune. Addressing the event, the union education minister remarked that NEP 2020 is a knowledge document of the 21st century. He went on to say that NEP 2020 aims to promote the overall development of an individual and has the objective of making education accessible to everyone.

The education minister further remarked that



India has become the epicenter of the knowledge-based economy and India has a significant contribution to the global economy.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan further added that India’s academic fraternity has a huge role to play to ensure a rightful place for India in the new world.

He stated that how well India harmonises with technology and automation and gaining new skills will define India’s readiness for future work and leadership in the emerging new global order.
